Mary Mae (Hose) Miller, 90, of Clear Spring, died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, at her home.
Born May 6, 1921 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late James Riley and Mary Ella (Hastings) Hose.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer R. Miller Sr., in April 1993.
She attended Southern Baptist Church and was a member of the Keenagers Group.
Mary was a homemaker and an excellent seamstress. She loved to sew.
She is survived by her son, Elmer R. Miller Jr. of Clear Spring; daughter-in-law, Vicki Miller; 14 grandchildren, Roberta Baublitz, Glenn Ruck, Brenda Dom, Richard Smith, Lori Hawbaker, Robert Schell Bill Smith, Sherry Smith, Keith Johnson, Tammy Johnson, Eric Johnson, Vicky Tate, Sandy Ruck and Wesley Dom; 16 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by two daughters, Margaret L. Hoover and Bonnie M. Schell; a sister, Margaret E. J. Souders; and a brother, Clarence K. Hose.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, 2012, at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with the Rev. Clark D. Carr officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
