Maude Irene Munday

Maude Irene Munday, 93, of Hagerstown, passed away, Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Julia Manor Health Care Center, Hagerstown.

Born January 9, 1922, in Hagerstown she was the daughter of the late, Jacob Martin Perrott and Effie E. (Bartles) Perrott. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Munday, Sr.; her son, John H. Munday, Jr.; six siblings, Alexander "Pete" Perrott, Hazel L. Smith, Wilbur V. Perrott, John R. Perrott, Laura M. Mills and Eleanor "Polly" Beard.

Mrs. Munday was a homemaker and a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, Hagerstown.
She is survived by three nephews, Howard E. Mills of Taneytown, Md, G. Melvin Mills, Jr. (Linda) of Melbourne, Fla. and John "Sonny" Perrott, Jr. (Barbara) of Clearspring; one niece, JoAnn Litten (Doyle) of Hagerstown and friend, Jim Martin of Hagerstown.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, October 2, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Rev. Dr. Stephen D. Robison officiating.

Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the funeral home one hour prior to services.
