Michael C. "Mike" Kenyon, 51, of Hagerstown, died on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at his home.
Born May 24, 1964 in Forrest City, AK., he was the son Esther M. (Laigner) Powell and the late Frederick W. Kenyon.
Mike retired from the Snurr Center Lawn Crew. He continued to attend the day program.
He was a member of the Happy-Go-Lucky Bowling Team and the Men's Adventure Club. Mike enjoyed taking vacations; especially to the beach to swim, going to carnivals, cooking, eating and collecting kitchen equipment. Mike will be remembered as a very unique individual.
In addition to his mother, Mike is also survived by his brother, Bobby Powell; a sister, Jo Ann Darden and husband Bobo; and numerous extended family. Mike loved his family from the Washington County Human Development Council; especially his program coordinator, "Beh".
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00am on Friday, November 20, 2015 at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown. Friends and family will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and again following the service for a luncheon.
Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
