Mildred May Cline

Mildred May Cline 87, of Hagerstown, passed away, Thursday, April 14, 2016, at NMS Healthcare, Hagerstown.

Born November 27, 1928 in Westminster, Maryland she was the daughter of the late Earl Franklin and Loretta Lou (Gorsuch) Bankard. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul Wilfred Cline, whom she married March 6, 1948 and passed away, June 4, 2008; three siblings, Earl Bankard, George Bankard and Margaret (Bankard) Egoff.

Mrs. Cline was a homemaker and a member of Haven Lutheran Church, Hagerstown and The Better Breathers, Hagerstown.

She enjoyed all types of Crafts including, needlepoint and crewel. She and her husband enjoyed amusement parks, roller coasters, Sunday drives, bus trips and were season ticket holders of The Washington County Playhouse since it's opening.

She is survived by two children, Roland D. Cline and wife Becky of Hancock and Ronna L. Shehan and husband Ed of Hagerstown; three brothers, Charles Bankard and wife, Maxine of Edmonton, Ky., Richard Bankard, Ray Bankard and wife Betty, all of Wesminster, Md.; two grandchildren, Matthew Roy Cline and wife, Laura and Bradley Paul Cline and wife, Elizabeth; two great grandchildren, Colton Bradley Cline and Reagan Cavey Cline; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, April 22, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. at Haven Lutheran Church, 1035 Haven Road, Hagerstown with Rev. Linda M. Alessandri officiating.

Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 6-8 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown.
