Norma Jean (White) Swain, 46, of Hagerstown, passed away, Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at her home.
Born June 6, 1968 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of Joe White of Hagerstown and the late Doris (Whitmore) White.
Norma Jean had worked as a cosmetologist for 30 years.
She is survived by two children, Cherie Jackson and Brandon Norris, both of Hagerstown; one brother, Joseph E. White of Hagerstown; lifelong friend, Amy Peterson and a cherished friend and business associate, Beth Rishel.
A memorial service will be conducted on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the West End Baptist Chapel, 101 Buena Vista Ave., Hagerstown, with Pastor Shane Wilt officiating. A reception will follow from 1:30 - 4:00 P.M. at the South End Fire Company, 409 W. First St., Hagerstown.
Friends will be received on Monday, August 4, from 6-8 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown and at the church on Tuesday from 11:00 - 1:00.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Norma Jean's name to the Hospice of
Washington County, 747 Northern Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742.
