Pamela Lynn Myers

Pamela Lynn Myers, 71, of Hagerstown, Md, passed away, Saturday, December 19, 2020 at her home.

Born October 15, 1949 in Hagerstown, Md, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy M. Wantz, birth father the late Robert South and father the late Hiram Wantz.

She was proceeded in death by her loving husband of 42 years, David Keith Myers, and granddaughter, Abbey L. Myers.

Mrs. Myers was a graduate of the 1967 class of North Hagerstown High School and the 1968 class of Hagerstown Business College.

She was employed by Potomac Edison before beginning her family.

She loved to travel, cook, and work in her flower gardens, but her biggest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren play baseball. She loved spending time at the beach with her family, fishing, and eating crabs. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Tisha L. Finniff and husband Doug of Gaithersburg, MD, son, Kevin D. Myers of Hagerstown, MD; sister, Sondra Riser of Hagerstown; sisters-in-law Lois Gibney of Kettering, OH and Diane Keesecker of Hagerstown; grandchildren, Ryan and Cole Finniff; several nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, Cooper.

A funeral service will be conducted on Monday, December 28, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Rev. Margaret Clemons officiating.

Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 5-8 P.M.

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, no more than 60 people will be allowed in the funeral home at one time. Facial coverings and social distancing are required.

Memorial contributions may be made in Pamela’s name to the American Heart Association or Washington County SPCA.
