Patrick Lawrence Mechler, II, 28, of Hagerstown, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2015 at Meritus Medical Center.
Born November 5, 1986, in Poughkeepsie, New York, he was the son of Patrick Lawrence Mechler, Sr. of Texas and the late Jennifer J. (Ford) Mechler.
Patrick worked as a software engineer at Lonza in Walkersville, MD.
He was a member of the Gamers Club of Maryland.
In addition to his father, Patrick is also survived by his loving fiancé, Nicole M. Waldeis; a foster son; five siblings, Wayne Mergott, III and wife Tara, Douglas Mergott and wife Deborah, Daniel Mergott and wife Amy, Tonya Krueger and husband Mark, and Theron Mergott and wife Chiron; eleven nieces and nephews, Dakota, Rachel, Nicole, Ben, Sarah, Mary, Luke, Michael, Nicholas, Elizabeth, Alexander; and many close friends.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00pm on Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2015 at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown. Friends will be received two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
