Paul Everett Louthian

Paul Everett Louthian, 77, of Hagerstown, passed away, Monday, March 9, 2020 at the VA Medical Center , Martinsburg, W.Va.
Born February 5, 1943 in Chilhowie, Va. he was the son of the late, Roy Buford and Bessie Alice (Sawyer) Louthian. In addition to his parents he also was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Patricia D. (Flanagan) Louthian and a brother,Gilmer Louthian and a brother in law, Vernie Lee Joines.
Mr. Louthian was a US Army veteran of the Viet Nam War.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gaithersburg.
He retired from American Industrial Floor Products where he worked in the warehouse and in installation.
Mr. Louthian is survived by two daughters, Rebecca S. Lee and Felicia L. Thompson and husband, Erroll, all of Hagerstown; three grandchildren, Christopher W.E.R. Hardison and wife, Angela of Poolesville, Md., Joyce R. Pickett and husband, Terry and Larkin B. Thompson all of Hagerstown; four great grandchildren, Liam R. Hardison, Logan J. Hardison, Leena A. Hardison and Juliet Pickett; two brothers, R.B. Louthian and wife, Nancy of Kingsport Tenn. and Eddie Louthian and wife, Sandra of Chilhowie; two sisters, Virgie Joines and Faye Heath and husband, Leon all of Chilhowie.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave. with his son in law, Pastor Erroll Thompson officiating.
Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery where military honors will be accorded at the graveside by the Maryland National Guard, Joint Veterans Council and the Marine Corps League Honor Guards.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday one hour prior to the service.
