Pauletta Nadine (Kline) Deiterich, 78, of Hagerstown, took her final curtain call on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born June 8, 1935 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Lewis B. Kline and Eleanora I. (Benchoff) Kramer.

Pauletta was a 1953 graduate of Hagerstown High School.

She retired from Mack Trucks in the accounts payable dept. after many years of service.

Pauletta was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she was active in the bible study group. She was also a member of the Potomac Playmakers and the Lady Elks Lodge No. 378. Pauletta was a past president of the Breast Cancer Awareness - Cumberland Valley, Inc. and a member of the Pink Ribbon Circle. Pauletta was involved in the class of 1953's reunion committee and several lunch groups.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Emory Odell Deiterich, who died March 23, 2013; and her stepmother, Judith E. Kline.

She is survived by her four children, Mark O. Deiterich and wife Kelli of Smithsburg, E. Todd Deiterich and wife Sofiya of Gold Coast, Australia, Emily N. Benas and husband Tim of Gaithersburg, Amy E. Mason and husband Michael of Hagerstown; four grandchildren, Nathan Deiterich, Mitchell Deiterich, Rebecca Mason, Izzac Deiterich; a sister, Judith K. Ford of Shepherdstown, WV; and a brother, Lewis H. Kline of Greencastle, PA.

A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00am on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Haven Lutheran Church, 1035 Haven Rd., Hagerstown, with the Rev. Linda Alessandri officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown.
