Paulette Christiane Lafaye, 90, of Hagerstown, Maryland, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at her home.
Born in Gennevillers, France on January 9, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Germaine Marguerite (Lefevre) and Roger Lafaye. In addition to her parents, Paulette is preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Blondel; and second husband Ernest Delanois.
Paulette crocheted over 5,000 pouches for Operation Christmas Child with the Samaritan's Purse organization.
Paulette is survived by her daughter, Danielle Krupka and husband Jim of Hagerstown; two grandchildren, Candice Roach and Cheryl Ferguson (Tim); and 5 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at Rest Haven Funeral Home, Inc., 1601 Pennsylvania Ave, Hagerstown, MD 21742. Pastor Ken Harris will be officiating. Light refreshments to follow the service.
The family will receive friends an hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
