Phillip Jacob Robinson

Phillip Jacob Robinson, 45, of Hagerstown, passed away at his home on Saturday, September 16, 2017.
Born August 10, 1972, in Weston, WV, he was the son of Mary Ellen Robinson and the late Robert G. Robinson, Jr.
Phil was a 1990 graduate of Parkersburg High School, where he was a two-time state champion with the Big Reds' boys' tennis team and a starter on the inaugural varsity soccer team in 1988. He graduated from Fairmont State College with a Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics where he was a four year member of the college's men's tennis team and was captain and first seed his senior year.
Phil had his struggles, but he still enjoyed nature, animals, camping and traveling. His greatest joy was playing and listening to music. He is survived and missed by his sister, Kristina; his brothers, Peter and Paul; four nephews and a niece.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday September 23, 2017 at Rest Haven Funeral Home, Inc. 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown.
Friends and family will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
