Phoebe Mae Frick

July 2, 1933 — March 2, 2018

Phoebe Mae Frick, 84, of Maugansville, passed away, Friday, March 2, 2018, at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown.

Born July 2, 1933 in Clear Spring, she was the daughter of the late, Bruce Howard and Ella Indiana (Beckley) Snyder. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by her husband, George Kelly Frick, whom she married in 1961 and a sister, Ruby Hammond.

Mrs. Frick was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church for over 50 years where she served as Sunday School teacher and worked with the youth.

She had worked as a bookkeeper for J W Meyers and was an assistant for Larry Allen Photography; she tutored in the public school system and volunteered with the WHS band; she was a Girl Scout Leader; baked and decorated cakes for family and friends and loved to sew and cook.

Mrs. Frick is survived by two daughters, Kathy Roberts and husband David and their children, Eli, Abigail and Isabelle, Janet Lipe and her daughter, Amanda; three sons, Gary Frick and wife, Kitty, Ronnie Frick and wife, Donna and their daughter, Kristal, George Frick, Jr. and wife Judi and their children, Kelly, Amy, Rachel and Benjamin; four brothers, Bobby Snyder and wife, Joyce, Ronnie Snyder and wife, Peggy, Howard Snyder and Roger Snyder; Numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great grandchildren and many friends.

Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Rest Haven Cemetery, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Rev. Dr. Stephen D. Robison officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Phoebe's name to the music program of Otterbein United Methodist Church, 108 E. Franklin St., Hagerstown, MD 21740.
