Phyllis Marie Wilber

Phyllis Marie Wilber, 81, of Hagerstown, passed away, Saturday, December 26, 2015, at Meritus Medical Center.
Born September 4, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Clarence S. and Nellie E. (Mellott) Coss. Marie also was preceded in death by her first husband, Earl Mason Guessford and life-time companion and husband Frederick Wilber and one sister, Betty E. (Coss) Zittle.
She spent her life serving others as a nurse at Frederick Memorial Hospital and Washington County Hospital where she later retired.
She is survived by two sons, Earl M. Guessford and wife LeeAnne of Hagerstown and Clarence (Pete) Guessford of Virginia Beach, Va.; one grandson, Miles Guessford and great-grandson, Lennox of Menomonee Falls Wisconsin, granddaughters, Avery Guessford, Brianna and Sierra Oberholzer, step-granddaughters, Chloe and Skylar Myers. She is also survived by two nieces, Donna Fogle and Susan Makin.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 3, 2016 from 5-7 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, January 4, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown.
