Ralph Aldus Weaver

Ralph Aldus Weaver, 82, of Maugansville, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012, at Meritus Medical Center.
Born June 2, 1929, in Maugansville, he was the son of the late Harry and Oma (Kendle) Weaver.
Mr. Weaver was a member of Salem Reformed Church in Hagerstown and Improved Order of Red Men in Williamsport.
He was a former member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Club and the Moose Club, both of Hagerstown, Greencastle American Legion, Maugansville Volunteer Fire Co. and Green Ridge Sportsmanâ??s Club.
He retired from the maintenance department at Mack Trucks, and formerly worked in service and delivery for Dentler Brothers.
He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Ann (Clinton) Weaver; three children, Mike Weaver and wife, Belinda, and Kathy Strine and husband, Bill, all of Maugansville, and Denny Weaver of Hagerstown; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 3, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with Pastor Steve Wagoner officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday two hours before services at the funeral home.
