Richard Kenneth Cosgrove, Jr., 36 of Waynesboro, PA, passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2021.
Born on January 1, 1985 in Hagerstown, he was the son of Willa Belle (Purnell) Henderson and Richard K. Cosgrove, Sr.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents; Patsy and Harold Cosgrove, and maternal grandfather William H. Purnell.
Rick attended Hedgesville High School.
Rick earned his GED and certifications in fiberoptics, as a mechanic and was most proud of being certified as a dog trainer. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and working on cars.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Kylie, sisters; Sherry Thomas and husband Kevin, and Ashley and Jessica Cosgrove, newphews; Dylan and Devon, Grandmother Norma J. Thompson, Step-mother; Helen Cosgrove, and other nieces and nephews.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral costs.
