Ricky Starliper

Richard Lee "Ricky" Starliper, Sr., 57, of Hagerstown, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Meritus Medical Center.
Born August 16, 1959 in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Harry Wilson and Viola Grace (Eshelman) Starliper.
He retired in 2004 from the Hagerstown Block Company after 25 years of service.
Ricky was a diehard Pittsburgh Steeler's fan! He also enjoyed car racing.
He is survived by three children, Gracie Starliper Moats, Richard Lee Starliper, Jr., and Crystal Lynn Debernardis; eight siblings, Edgar Starliper, Gary Starliper, Ronnie Starliper, Phyllis Warner, Harry Starliper, Shirley Starliper, Marie Funk, Timothy Starliper; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by four brothers, Donald, Wilson, Earl "Slim", and Terry Starliper.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, June 23, 2017 at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown. The family will receive friends from 7-9pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
Inurnment will be private in Rest Haven Cemetery.
