Robert Eugene Clark, 84, of 7109 Tommytown Rd, Sharpsburg, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Julia Manor Health Care Center.
Born March 4, 1931 in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Lloyd A. and Nellie R. (Fisher) Clark.
Robert retired after 38 years as a machine operator for Maryland Ribbon Factory in Hagerstown.
He was a member of Love Grows Here Lutheran Church in Hagerstown.
He is survived by his loving wife of almost 45 years, Anna Belle (Palmer) Clark; his two daughters, Doris Rager and husband Joseph, Ellen Blake and husband Harry " Sonny"; a sister-in-law, Jo Ann Clark; four grandchildren, David Rager and wife Pam, Glenn Rager and wife Tammy, Tommy Myers and wife Heather, Andy Myers and fiance Brittney; six great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Harold Clark and his wife Polly, James Clark; and his great-granddaughter, Kayla Jo Myers.
A funeral service will be held at 10am on Monday, January 18, 2016 at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with the Rev. John Torrence officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received Sunday 5-7pm. The funeral home will open after 1:00pm for those who wish to come earlier.
