Robert Leslie "Bob" Davis, Jr., 66, of Hagerstown, passed away, Sunday, November 10, 2013 at his home.
Born October 30, 1947 in Hagerstown he was the son of the late Robert Leslie Davis, Sr. and Betty Jane (Dagenhart) Davis.
Mr. Davis retired in 1988 from Mack Truck where he had worked as a machinist and later a supervisor. After his retirement he opened and ran Bob's Automotive, an automotive repair shop.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sherry L. (Norman) Davis; three children, R. Patrick Davis and wife Karen of Clear Spring, Christine L. Davis of Hagerstown and Mark A. Davis of Palm Springs, Ca.; three grandchildren, Brian A. Doyle, Brianna Davis and Garrett Davis; one great grandson, Noah Doyle; two sisters, Vicki Green of Smithsburg and Tina Greene of Hagerstown.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Pastor Ron Key officiating.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6-8 P.M.
