Robert Michael Turner, 59, of Hagerstown, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at his home.
Born August 28, 1957 in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Donald Ray Turner, Sr. and Mary Virginia "Ginny" (Brezler) Richmond and her second husband, Curtis Richmond.
Robert was last employed as a machine operator for Amcor Flexibles after 19 years of service.
Robert enjoyed watching NASCAR, baseball, and football. His favorite driver was #20 Matt Kenseth and he was an avid Baltimore Ravens and Orioles fan.
He is survived by his loving wife of 9 years, Debra Sue Turner; a son, Wade Michael Turner of Hagerstown; a daughter, Sherry Moser of PA.; a step-son, Kevin Bowers of Hagerstown; a sister, Catherine A. Baker of Hagerstown; and two grandsons, Gunner and Gavin Moser.
In addition to his parents and step-father, Robert is also preceded in death by three brothers, Daniel A. Turner, Donald R. Turner, and Ronald S. Turner.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, October 28, 2016 at Rest Haven Funeral Home, Hagerstown, with Rev. Chris Schlotterbeck officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery. A luncheon will be held at the funeral home following the burial.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-9pm on Thursday.
