Robert Milton Gearhart

Robert Milton Gearhart, 76, of Maugansville, passed away Monday, Jan. 9, 2012, at NMS Healthcare, Hagerstown.
Born, July 4, 1935, in Williamsport, he was the son of the late Irvin Ward and Margaret Irene (Durbin) Gearhart.
Mr. Gearhart retired with 30 years of service as a forklift operator with Grove Worldwide.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by two daughters, Kathy J. Weller and husband, Marvin, of Greencastle, and Carol I. Heiston and husband, Harold, of Hagerstown; one son, Douglas E. Gearhart of Hagerstown; one granddaughter, April Weller and fiancé, Gary Meck, of Greencastle; one grandson, James Weller and wife, Natalie, of Port Royal, Pa.; one great-granddaughter, Ella Jo Weller-Meck and a baby-to-be; one sister, D. Janie Nigh of Hagerstown; one brother, Carl D. Gearhart of Clear Spring; five nieces; and two nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Robert R. Gearhart; and a brother, Harold W. Gearhart.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.
