Ruby "Ming" Wilson, 73 of Hagerstown, died, Tuesday, January 21,2014 at her home.
Born August 11, 1940, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late, Edna Burnett Sims and Walter Keyes. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by a son, Trevore H. Wilson.
She retired as an executive secretary with the Fairchild Corporation.
Ruby "Ming" is survived by her husband, Kenneth I. Wilson; two daughters, Loria A. Branch of Hagerstown and Elisabeth S. Wilson of Riverdale, Ga.; two sons, Steven K. Wilson of Pleasant Hill, Ca. and Kevin R. Wilson of College Park, Md.; grandsons, Marshall W. Branch III of Hagerstown, Jacob T.H.S. Wilson, Michael J.S. Wilson and Jared J.A.S. Wilson all of Pleasant Hill, Ca.; two granddaughters, Carmen M. Branch of Hagerstown and Sherridan L. Greene of Riverdale, Ga.; one great granddaughter, Kennedi B. Branch of Hagerstown and one great grandson, Damiere A. Branch of Hagerstown; she is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other relatives.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, January 27, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Greater Campher Temple King's Apostle Holy Church, 125 Bethel St., Hagerstown with the Rev. Leroy Jackson and Pastor Darin Mency officiating.
Entombment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown.
Friends will be received at the church on Sunday from 5-7 P.M.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Ruby's name to the Robert W. Johnson Community Center, 109 W. North Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21740.
Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, Hagerstown is in charge of the arrangements.
