Ruth Ann Dunleavy

Ruth Ann (Souders) Dunleavy, 95, of Hagerstown, passed away, Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Fahrney-Keedy Home and Village, Boonsboro.
Born August 8, 1922 in Hagerstown she was the daughter of the late, Edwin Stanley and Lillian B. (Meussner) Souders. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years, Kingston G. Dunleavy; one sister, Doris Jane Souders and one brother, Stanley H. Souders.
Mrs. Dunleavy was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church; Queen Esther No. 3, Order of the Eastern Star; Ladies of the Elks No. 378 and the Women's Club, all of Hagerstown.
She retired as an office manager for Squier Associates Inc.,Rockville, Md.
Mrs. Dunleavy is survived by two step daughters, Georgia L. Barvinchack and husband, Evon of Greencastle, Pa. and Betty J. Wray and husband, James of Waynesboro, Pa.; six step grandchildren, sixteen step great grandchildren, six step great-great grandchildren and two on the way; one niece and one nephew.
Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 10:30 A.M. at Rest Haven Cemetery, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Rev. Dr. David Eisenhuth officiating.
