Shirley Ann Howe

Shirley Ann Howe, 80, of Hagerstown, Md. went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 29, 2019 at Broadmore Senior Living.
Born September 21, 1938 in Leetown, West Virginia she was the daughter of the late, Lonnie and Mamie (Johnson) Fiddler. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Cecil Howard "Buddy" Howe, Sr.; seven sisters, Violet Fiddler, Daisy Clipp, Helen Gettel, Mildred Fiddler, Mamie Mundey, Margaret Cosgrove and Marie Davis; four brothers, Marion, Robert, Herman and Mahalon Fiddler and one grandson, Tony Domer.
Shirley was a member of Wayside Baptist Church in Leitersburg where she served the Lord teaching Sunday School and singing in the choir. She also attended and enjoyed serving many years at Pioneer Baptist Church in Thurmont. She loved the Lord and her family.
Shirley loved children and enjoyed being an in home day care provider for many years. She was an avid bowler as a young adult and won many patches and trophies.
Shirley is survived by her son, Cecil H. Howe, Jr. and wife Robin of Waynesboro, Pa.; her daughter, Debra E. Domer and husband, Dan of Myrtle Beach SC; three grandchildren, David "Bucky" Howe, Daniel Howe and Todd Domer; eight great grandchildren; a sister, Mary Dowler and a brother, Kenny Fiddler.
A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with the Rev. Jeremy Kitchen officiating.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 5-7 P.M.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Shirley's name to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742.
