Stephen Earl Hull, 66, of Hagerstown, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at the Martinsburg Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Born December 28, 1947 in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late R. Charles and Mary Louise Hull.
He was a graduate of North Hagerstown High School.
Stephen enjoyed fishing, camping, coin collecting and shooting pool.
He is survived by his daughter, Wendy Hegedus and husband Michael of Hagerstown; a son, Stephen "Stevie" Hull and his companion, Amy Near of Hedgesville, WV; two brothers, Jeffrey Hull of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, Pete Hull of Sharpsburg; two sisters, Joan Coblentz of Mt. Airy, Rebecca Holmes of Harrisonburg, Virginia; and two grandsons, Blake A. Newlin and Charles J. Hull.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00pm on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with the Rev. Mark C. Mooney officiating. Inurnment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery with military honors being accorded by Morris Frock American Legion Post No. 42.
