Stephen Lee Wolfensberger

Stephen Lee Wolfensberger, 63, of Hagerstown, passed away Monday, Aug. 15, 2011, at Fahrney-Keedy Home & Village in Boonsboro.
Born Sept. 30, 1947, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Richard Wolfensberger and Rose Crabtree.
He was of the Catholic faith.
Stephen was a 1965 graduate of St. Maria Goretti High School and a graduate of Shepherd College.
He also served in the U.S. Air Force as a staff sergeant in the Vietnam War.
He was the treasurer for the City of Hagerstown, and was a member of the Funkstown American Legion and The Last Man Standing Club.
Stephen is survived by his wife, Patti, and daughters, Kerri Wolfensberger of Dillsburg, Pa., and Carly Wolfensberger, and grandson, Marcus, of Hagerstown.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and Stanley Wolfensberger.
Memorial services will be Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with the Rev. Michael Seger officiating. Inurnment with military honors will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends one hour before services at the funeral home.
