Susan E. Hendrickson

Susan E. Hendrickson, 71, of Martinsburg, passed away, Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Winchester Medical Center.
Born April 19, 1947 in Hagerstown she was the daughter of the late, John H. and Beatrice (Phillips) Strite. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by her husband, William O. Hendrickson, Jr.
Mrs. Hendrickson was a homemaker, a graduate of North Hagerstown High School; a member of Christ Reformed Church, Hagerstown where she sang in the Chancel Choir. She also was a member of the Hagerstown Choral Arts, St. Patricks Chorale and the Brunswick Housewives Bowling League, Winchester where she had served as president and treasurer.
She is survived by three children, Marcia L. Hendrickson of Martinsburg, Ellen D. McWilliamson of Damascus, Md. and W. Owen Hendrickson III of Hagerstown; one sister, Juliette Long of Williamsport; one brother, John H. Strite II of Hagerstown; two grandchildren, Jason M. Hendrickson and Liam; one great grandson, Oliver; close family friend, Kimberly Arvin of Martinsburg and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be conducted on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Pastor Eddie Edmonds officiating.
