Sylvia Catherine Young, 79, of Hagerstown, passed away, Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown.
Born April 15, 1937 in Washington, Pa. she was the daughter of the late, Peter and Sophia (Kolano) Dombrowsky.
Mrs. Young was a wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.
She was catholic by faith.
She is survived by her loving husband of over 61 years, Donald Neil Young; four children, Kip Neil Young, Kimberly Dawn Sandeen and husband, Robert, Kerry Howard Young and Kristin Lei Young and fiance, Bryan Miracle; one brother, Frank Dombrowsky and wife, Judy; one sister, Patricia McDougal and husband, Dean; six grandchildren, Jaid, Andrew and Matthew Sandeen, Brandy Bynum and husband, Chris, Tyler and Kaitlyn Young; two great grandchildren, Ethan and Kaylee Bynum.
Friends will be received on Sunday, March 5, 2017 from 3-5 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown
Funeral services will be private and conducted at the convenience of the family.
