Teresa Marie Scott, 57, of Waynesboro, passed away, Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown.
Born November 12, 1956 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Frank J. and Helen (Brown) DiFabbio. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Guessford.
Teresa was a 1974 graduate of North Hagerstown High School.
She was a member of St. Peters Beard Lutheran Church, Old Forge Road, Hagerstown.
Teresa was a homemaker and loved reading, cooking, crossword puzzles, flea markets, animals and her favorite vacation spot was Atlantic City, New Jersey and she had been a club steward for the Alsatia Club for over 16 years.
She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Robert D. Scott; two daughters, Shayla C. Scott of Bend, Oregon and Misty S. Scott of Moline, Illinois.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with the Rev. David Baker officiating.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home one hour prior to services.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Teresa's name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
