Trista Suzanne (Boward) Kruse, 47, of Wolfsville, MD, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2019, in her home from natural causes.
Born February 19, 1972 in Hagerstown, MD., she was a daughter of Wanda (Cabaniss) Boward of Smithsburg and Gary Richard Boward and wife Roanne of Clear Spring, MD., and mother figure, Grace Hauver.
She was a 1990 graduate of Frederick High School of Frederick, MD.
Trista attended Grossnickle Church of the Brethren in Wolfsville, MD.
Trista had worked as a general manager in the food service industry. The past several years, she worked as a homemaker, and was excellent at it. She had a knack for interior design and culinary art. Trista was an amazing writer with impeccable handwriting. She was also an avid reader and good at detailed storytelling, notably with her great sense of humor. She loved animals; especially rescues, and they loved her just as much.
In addition to her parents and stepmother, she is also survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Brian J. Kruse; her sister, Shannon Myers and husband Danny of Clear Spring; nieces and nephews, who she lovingly called "Tata's babies", Kelsey Breakall and husband Kevin, Markison Mendoza, Faith Mendoza, Sophia Mendoza, Ryan Kruse and Annabelle Kruse; two aunts, Sandra Hendry and Cheryl Nichols; an uncle, Mike Hendry; a cousin, Jennifer Zebley; her furbabies, Mollie and Mavis; and a host of friends and family.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday, November 23, 2019 from 4-6pm at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, MD. A funeral service will follow at 6:00pm at the funeral home.
Inurnment will be private in Rest Haven Cemetery.
