Viola Mae (Wyand) Betts
Viola Mae (Wyand) Betts, 69, of Hagerstown, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Meritus Medical Center.
Born September 10, 1943 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Carl S. and Edith S. (Welty) Wyand.
She was a graduate of North Hagerstown High School.
Viola retired from the Maryland Correctional Center.
Surviving her is a sister, Carletta Sauble of Hagerstown; and two brothers, Carl Wyand of New Albany, OH and Donald L. Wyand of Mussel Shoals, AL.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Earl W. Wyand.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00am on Friday, March 29, 2013 in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown. Interment will follow.
Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, Hagerstown, is in charge of the arrangements.
