Virginia Rebecca Trimmer

Virginia Rebecca Trimmer, 99, of Smithsburg, Md., passed away, Wednesday, July 1, 2020, at Coffman Nursing Home, Hagerstown.
Born October 2, 1920 in Keedysville, Md. she was the daughter of the late, Noah and Annabel (Tucker) Churchey. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer M. Trimmer.
Mrs. Trimmer was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Hagerstown.
She had worked in the dietary department at Washington County Hospital, as an occupational therapy aide at Western Maryland Hospital Center and as a cook at the Community Market.
Mrs. Trimmer is survived by two daughters, Barbara A. Wolford and husband, Hubert of Smithsburg and Dolores Osik of Hagerstown; four grandchildren, Michelle R. Legge and husband, James of Smithsburg, Todd L. Wolford and wife, Elaine of Greencastle, Pa., James Osik and wife Robin and Stephen Osik and wife, Robin, all of Hagerstown; seven great-grandchildren, Ryan and Devon Bender, Olivia Wolford, Jason, Amy and Ian Osik and Sarah Myers and four great-great- grandchildren.
Funeral services and burial will be private and conducted at the convenience of the family.
Rest Haven Funeral Home, Hagerstown is assisting the family with the arrangements.
