Virginia Rose Brown

Virginia Rose (Chapman) Brown, 87, of Boonsboro, passed away, Friday, November 15, 2013, at Reeders Memorial home, Boonsboro.
Born, January 19, 1926, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late, Clarence Waters and Rose Ellen (Cameron) Chapman.
Mrs. Brown retired from the Washington County Hospital where she had worked for Central Services.
She is survived by three sons, Thomas Brown of Smithsburg, Robert Brown, Jr. of Great Falls Mt. and William "Bill" Brown of Boonsboro; a foster son, Allen Baker of Hagerstown; eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Robert Charles Brown, Sr.; two sisters, Elisabeth and Martha and three brothers, Charles, Eston and Theodore.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with pastor Jeff Summers officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8 P.M.
