Wanda Lee (Will) Lowry
Wanda Lee (Will) Lowry, 77, of Hagerstown, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Western Maryland Hospital Center.
Born in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late Norman P. and Frances Emma (Swain) Will.
Wanda worked as a homemaker
She was Methodist by faith. Wanda enjoyed her family, watching children, cooking, and sewing.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles B. Lowry, Sr., who died in 2003; and her brother, Norman Dale Will.
She is survived by four children, Darlene Strasser of Greencastle, Mary Lowry of Hagerstown, Charles Lowry, Jr. of Hagerstown, Sharon Rubeck and husband Brad of Clear Spring; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00pm on Friday, November 15, 2013 at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with the Rev. Richard Bowers officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 7-9pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made in Wanda's name to Western Maryland Hospital Center , 1500 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742.
