William Bill Sonny Funk, Sr.

William A. "Bill" "Sonny" Funk, Sr., 75, of Hagerstown, passed away, Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at his home.
Born September 4, 1941 in Moorefield, West Virginia he was the son of the late, Charles Edward and Alice Katherine (Myers) Funk. In addition to his parents he also was preceded in death by, his 1st wife, Margaret "Peggy" (Domer) Funk, his 2nd wife, Brenda Louise (Foltz) Funk and one brother.
Mr. Funk retired as a foreman and concrete finisher with RHP Construction, Inc., Hagerstown.
He is survived by three children, William Anthony Funk, Jr. and wife Denise of Chambersburg, Pa., Michelle Reeder of Williamsport and Kristy Funk of Hagerstown;three grandchildren, Brittany, Trenton and Nathan; one great grandson, Daniel; one step son, Robert Funk and wife Stephanie of Martinsburg, W.Va.; four step grandchildren,Kayla, Alyssa, Jay and Anthony; one step great grandson, Zayden; five brothers and six sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Pastor John Pogue officiating.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 7-9 P.M.
