William Courtney Trigger

William Courtney Trigger, 84, of Hagerstown, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2020 at his home.

Born on April 1, 1936 in Chevy Chase, MD, he was the son of the late Thelma Marie and William C. Trigger, Sr.

William served in the United States Army.

William was a member of Morris Frock American Legion Post 42, and Fraternal Order of Eagles, Hagerstown.

William retired from Mack Truck in Hagerstown.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Sandra (Moore) Trigger, son Robert (Bobby) Trigger and his wife Sue, Daughter Jeannine Itnyre and her husband Eric, daughter Barb Taylor, Grandchildren Stephanie Fisher, Gabrielle Itnyre, Bobby Trigger, Eric W. Itnyre and AJ Taylor, and Great-grandchildren Liam Fisher and Matilda Nicholas.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with Pastor Kenneth Brown officiating.

A viewing will be held one hour prior.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in William's name to Good Shepherd Ministries, 19763 Longmeadow Rd., Hagerstown, MD 21742.
