William Lester "Bill" Ross, Sr.
William Lester "Bill" Ross, Sr., 63, of Hagerstown, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born October 15, 1950 in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Lester William and Margaret Luchria (Holiday) Ross.
Bill had worked as a truck driver for Gene Sword in Hagerstown.
He enjoyed building old cars.
He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Tamara Miles Ross; a son, William Lester "Bill" Ross, Jr.; three daughters, Kayla Marie Ross, Lachrishia Ann Ross, Chelsea Marie Ross; two granddaughters, Rose Mary Ross, Chayla Robledo; a grandson, Reily Ross; a great-grandson, Noah E. Ross; and three special friends, Mike Evans, Glen Householder, and Justin Marcum.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his first wife, Rosemary (Kidweiler) Ross, who died June 28, 1987.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00pm on Friday, May 2, 2014 in Rest Haven Cemetery, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with the Rev. A. Robert Cook officiating. Interment will follow.
