Willie I. Eshleman

Willie Irvin Eshleman, 76, died on November 6, 2016 at the Envoy of Winchester Nursing Home in Winchester, VA. He was a long time resident of Maugansville, Maryland, and had recently moved in with his youngest daughter, Linda, and her family in Hedgesville, WV. Born November 7, 1939 in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Daniel Irvin and Grace Beulah (Williams) Eshleman. He graduated from North Hagerstown High School in 1958. He served in the US Army as a PFC and was stationed in Germany. He worked as a dress cutter for Dorbee Manufacturing Co., Inc. and then Mack Trucks, Inc. where he retired in 1996 after 30 years as a material handler. During his retirement, he had a mowing and yard work business which he enjoyed for many years. He was a member of the Christ Reformed Church and the local chapter of the UAW of Hagerstown. He was an avid collector of model Mack Trucks and enjoyed watching college and professional football and basketball. He is survived by his loving wife, Judy A. Holsinger Eshleman of Hedgesville; two daughters, Laura Ann Dorsey of New Market, MD., and Linda Marie Baldassare and husband C. David of Hedgesville, WV.; one grandson, Arnett McEllwee Dorsey, Jr. of New Market; two granddaughters, Dora Marie Baldassare and Rebekah Ann Baldassare, both of Hedgesville; one brother, Kenneth R. Eshleman of Hagerstown; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Pauline A. Mitchell and one brother, Rev. Daniel S. Eshleman. A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, November 14, 2016 at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
