Yvonne Miracle "Nana" Gray, 74 of Boonsboro, passed away, Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at the Fahrney-Keedy Memorial Home, Boonsboro.
Born, February 10, 1939 in Miracle Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Walter Lee and Elsa (Miracle) Miracle.
Yvonne was a member of the South Harpeth Church of Christ, Nashville, Tn.
She was a graduate of the George Peabody College for Teachers in Nashville and was a substitute school teacher in Nashville and in Fairfax County Va.
She is survived by one daughter, Lisa Gray Cronise and husband Dave of Boonsboro; two identical twin grandsons, Specialist Richard Lee Riggs and wife Brittany of Boonsboro, stationed at Fort Carson Colorado and Sgt. Christopher Aaron Riggs and fiancé Nicole Moore of Boonsboro stationed at Fort Leonardwood Missouri; three step grandchildren, Adam Cronise and wife Tina formerly of Boonsboro, Joe Cronise and wife Traci and Dana Cronise all of Boonsboro; three step grandchildren, Alexis Marie LaRocca, Brennyn Grace Cronise-Dingass and Parker Chapman Cronise, all of Boonsboro.
In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joel Price Gray.
At her request there will be no visitation.
Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, March 4, 2013 at 9:00 A.M. at Rest Haven Cemetery, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with the Rev. Dean Pryor officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 108 Byte Dr., Frederick, MD 21704 or to the Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742.
Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, Hagerstown is in charge of the arrangements.
