Angel Luis Alvarez-Fantauzzi, 73, of Hagerstown, passed away, Monday, January 25, 2021, at Cadia Health Care, Hagerstown.
Born October 17, 1947 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico he was the son of the late, Ricardo and Juana Fantauzzi Alvarez.
Angel was a self employed taxi cab driver and a member of the Fuego Fresco of the Holy Spirit Church, Hagerstown.
He is survived by three children, Angelo L. Alvarez, Sr., Alneris Sorto and Yomara E. Villanueva; two brothers, hector L. Alvarez and Amalio Alvarez; eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Pastor's Armando Figueroa and Tony Rivera officiating.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 P.M.
