Anita Claire Pfeiffer

Anita Claire (Dion) Pfeiffer, 84, of Falling Waters, W.Va., passed away Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010, at Julia Manor Health Care Center in Hagerstown.
Born May 26, 1926, in Holyoke, Mass., she was the daughter of the late George and Lillian (Brault) Dion.
Anita was part of the kitchen staff at Fountain Head Country Club.
She was an avid bingo player and loved crafts.
She is survived by three children, Patricia Drury and husband, Jerry, of Three Springs, Pa., Beverly Vance and husband, Larry, of Falling Waters, W.Va., and Linda Frush and husband, Steve, of Williamsport; three sisters, Terry Caputo of Springfield, Mass., Lorraine Kasak of Aldenville, Mass., and Carol Drummond of Tampa, Fla.; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Beatrice Snapp.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Anita Louise Pfeiffer; and a grandson, Timmy Drury.
A memorial service will be Monday, Aug. 30, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with the Rev. Todd Strader officiating. Inurnment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received one hour before the service at the funeral home.
