Barbara Ann Shearer

Barbara Ann Shearer, 88, of Williamsport, Md., passed away, Thursday, March 7, 2024.
Born September 6, 1935 in Hagerstown, Md. she was the daughter of the late, Willie and Geneveive (Nichols) Forcino. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher Michael; sister, Joan Elliott; brother, Clarence Forcino and two son-in-laws, Greg Nutter and Roy Gilleo.

In addition to being a wife, mother and homemaker she had worked as a sales associate for the former Sears store, Hagerstown. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Hagerstown.

Mrs. Shearer is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Arthur C. Shearer, Jr.; four daughters, Sharon Nutter Gilleo, Judy Cree (Randy), Beth Schildknecht (Steve) and Laura Melville (Paul); two granddaughters, Kelly Michael and Jamie Boryk (John); three great grandchildren, Caden Rose, Benjamin and Lucy Boryk; three brothers, three sisters and a son-in-law, Leslie Shannon Michael III.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Rev. Dr. K. Robert Schmit officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
