Barry Wayne Baker

Barry Wayne Baker, 67, of Hagerstown, Maryland, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore.

Born December 12, 1957, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Joseph C. and Dorothy E. (Brown) Baker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Mike Baker.

Barry was a 1976 graduate of North Hagerstown High School. A proud veteran of the United States Navy, he devoted 12 years of service to his country, with assignments that included duty in Guam, at the Pentagon, and aboard the USS Peterson.

Following his military service, Barry enjoyed a meaningful career with CertainTeed. He was also a valued member of the Improved Order of Red Men, American Legion Post #42, and a former member of the Harley Owners Group of Williamsport.

Barry is survived by his son, Steven Baker, and wife, Angel; his daughter, Pamela Bergens, and husband, Scott; his sister, Susie Baker-Robinson, and husband Tuck; four beloved grandchildren, Andrew, Devin, Shannon, and Emmerich; two nieces, three nephews, and a special friend Wiggles.

Interment with Military Honors will be private and at the convenience of the family.
