Betty Mae Lambert

Betty Mae Lambert 91, of Maugansville, Md, passed away peacefully at Berkley Springs Health Care Center Wednesday, July 31, 2024. Betty was born in Westminster, Md to the late George D. Turfle and Judith Marie (Barnes) Turfle. Betty was the youngest of their three children.

In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her son, Dale L. Lambert, her husband Robert L. Lambert, and brother Robert (Bud) T. Turfle.

When Betty retired, she worked as a bookkeeper for Hunt Audio Associates of Hagerstown but continued to work part time for a short period for Direct Mail Processors as a Data Entry Clerk. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. Betty’s most memorable hobby was Crocheting beautiful blankets during the winter while watching television.

Betty is survived by her five children, Debra Mogard of Colorado, Wyatt (Neil) Lambert of Hagerstown, Wayde Lambert of Virginia, Jessie Lambert of Williamsport, and Julie Kershner of Maugansville, 7 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate the life of Betty Mae Lambert will be held Monday, August 5, 2024, at 12:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Avenue Hagerstown, Md 21742 with Pastor Jim Gross officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery.
