Brenda Lee DeBow, 50, of, Funkstown, passed away Monday, May 17, 2010, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Sept. 29, 1959, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late John Allen and Iona A. (Stoner) Boward.
Brenda was a licensed beautician and had worked as a EKG technician for Washington County Hospital.
She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Hagerstown.
She is survived by two daughters, Candida Everett of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., and Danielle Everett of Funkstown; one son, John Everett of Funkstown; two brothers, Terry Shoaf and Teddy Shoaf, both of Hagerstown; five grandchildren, Mariah Tucker, Natashia Humphrey, Shalynn Humphrey, Kailie Feiser and Jaiden Everett; an aunt, Peggy Wilson of Hagerstown; an uncle, Sonny Stoner of Hagerstown; and a nephew, Phillip Shoaf of Hagerstown.
In addition to her parents, she also preceded in death by her husband, Robert DeBow Jr.
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 20, 2010, at 8 p.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with the Rev. Brad Nigh officiating.
Friends will be received at the funeral home Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m.
