Carolyn Brewer, 77, of Partridge Lane, Hagerstown, MD died Friday, March 22, 2024 after a short stay at Doey’s House. Carolyn was born in Hagerstown, the daughter of John T. Henry and Edna E. Henry. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Loretta Smith, one sister and four brothers. Carolyn is survived by her husband, Thomas Brewer, one sister, two stepsons, 2 Grandchildren, 3 Great-Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Carolyn was employed by the Washington County Public School District as an elementary school teacher for forty years. She loved teaching and made a difference in many children’s lives. She and her husband Tom were members of Paramount Brethren Church. She cherished her church family and friends very much. Carolyn loved children and animals. She donated her time and a lot of money to so many charities. She had a big heart and was very giving. She was an avid Oriole Fan and loved taking her grandson, AJ to the games. In recent years she particularly enjoyed watching AJ play baseball and bowl. The graveside funeral service is Friday, March 29th at 11am, Rose Hill Cemetery in Hagerstown.
