Christi Cathleen Bowers, 52, of Hagerstown, MD passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023.
Born November 4, 1970 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of Ronald Lee Bowers and L. Carolyn (Deavers) Elgin and her husband William.
Christi was a graduate of North Hagerstown High School, Shepherd University, and the University of Baltimore. She held Bachelors and Masters degrees in psychology and business and had a Juris Doctorate Law Degree.
She was employed by the State of Maryland where she was a mediator in Prince Georges County and later became an owner of a Bigger Crowds Entertainment franchise in Northern Virginia. 
Christi loved to travel and was an avid photographer with her own photography business. She was also a classical violinist and loved to sing and dance, attending many singing competitions and organizing dances throughout Maryland and Virginia. She was a hard worker and a uniquely talented person who will be missed by many. 
Christi attended West End Baptist Chapel in Hagerstown and was a member of the Maryland Bar Association.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Lupa and Walt Riedi and her paternal grandfather, George F. Bowers.
In addition to her parents and stepfather, Christi is also survived by her paternal grandmother, Pearl Bowers; one brother, LtCol Michael A. Bowers and wife Angie; niece Madalyn Bowers and nephew Connor Bowers; aunt and uncle Robert and Jan Deavers and cousins Michelle, Nathan, Mark, and Philip Deavers, and numerous other family and friends.
A memorial service and celebration of her life will be held on August 27 at 4 P.M. at West End Baptist Chapel at 59 Winter St. in Hagerstown, Md.
