Clara Jean Jamison

Clara Jean (Sprankle) Jamison, 75, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at Chambersburg Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 15, 1949 in Hagerstown, MD to the late Carl Sprankle and Dorothy (Near) Bennett.

Clara attended South Hagerstown High School and was employed by  Venice Motel, Avalon Manor and Maryland Ribbon. She enjoyed spending time with her family and beloved puggle Zoey, listening to country music, playing bingo and living a simple life.

Clara is survived by sister Carol Sprankle of Georgia, daughter Farrah Kuhlman of Chambersburg, daughter Lisa Shanholtz of Hagerstown, son William L. Jamison and (wife Beth) of Waynesboro, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Clara was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Jamison and her brother, Carl Spankle Jr.

Funeral services will be held at Rest Haven Funeral Home on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 1pm. Family will receive friends from 12p-1p prior to Funeral. Chaplain Adam Leeper will officiate.
