Constance Dianne Mehrling

Constance Dianne Mehrling, 72, of Hagerstown went home to be with the lord on Sunday, July 11. 2021.
Born on September 8, 1948 in Hagerstown, Constance was the daughter of the late Daren Franklin Mullenix Sr. And Mary Rose (Crim) Mullenix. She was also proceeded in death by her husband of 46 years., John Jacob Mehrling; and her nephew, James Mullenix.
Constance was a graduate from North Hagerstown High School. She had worked for the State of Maryland Unemployement office for many years as a Claims Specialist 2.
Constance was a devout Christian woman, who loved her family and friends dearly. She loved spending time with her friends at the Funkstown Legion Post 211, where she served on the Ladies Auxillary. She was also a member of the Washington County Amvets Post 10 and the Williamsport Redmen Tribe 84.
Constance is survived by her children, David John Mehrling of Hagerstown; and Susan Diane Mehrling of Hagerstown; her brother, Daren Franklin Mullenix Jr. and his wife Linda of Hagerstown; and her grandchildren, Jordan Dickens and Katelyn Mehrling; her nephews Kyle Mullenix, Keith Mullenix; two great nephews, Marshal and Riley; and a great niece Isabella.
Friends will be received at the Rest Haven Funeral Home on Pennsylvania Avenue in Hagerstown on July 19, 2021 from 11:00am-1:00pm and the funeral services will follow right after. Reverend Stanley Steele will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Funkstown American Legion Post 211.
