David Benjamin Stoner, 72, of Hagerstown passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Doey's House.
Born November 15, 1949, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Karl Oliver and Ollie Belle (Howard) Stoner.
He was a 1967 graduate of South Hagerstown High School.
David retired from Asplundh Tree Service where he had worked for more than 40 years and was a member of North American Rod and Gun Club, an avid motorcyclist since 16 years of age, and he attended Valley Assembly of God.
In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his son, Daniel Stoner and a sister, Martha Ann Muhs.
David is survived by his loving wife of 7 years, Mildred Stoner (Tobias), stepdaughter, Jeannette M. Swartz and husband Allen of Waynesboro, PA, grandchildren, Jared A. and Kyle A. Swartz both of Waynesboro, PA, a brother Allen Stoner of Baltimore and sister-in-law, Nancy J. Tobias.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 with pastor Robert Jones officiating at Rest Haven Funeral Home 1601 Pennsylvania Ave. Hagerstown MD 21742.
Friends will be received at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be private in Rest Haven Cemetery.
