David "Butch" Jerry Starleper
David "Butch" Jerry Starleper passed away at Meritus Medical Center on May 3, 2024.He was born on May 4, 1949. He was the son of the late David Augustus "Peck" Starleper and Geraldine Mae (Derr) Starleper.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Phyllis Hoffman and Judy Myers, and one brother, Ronnie Starleper.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Jacquie (Moats) Starleper, one daughter, Wendi Starleper; one sister, Barbara Malott of Missouri; stepdaughters Johni Dell Jordan and Pam (Rich) Downin, stepsons Dale (Julie) Beard and Tim (Beth) Beard. 8 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Butch was a 1967 graduate of Boonsboro High School. Butch retired from Morgan Keller Construction in Frederick. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, hunting, and slow pitch softball. He was known as Pap to a lot of people.
Services and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
